The specialists of corporations NEC and NEC Electronics together developed the technology, which ensures the possibility of the independent restoration of logical BIS (large-scale integrated circuits, LSI) even during repeated damages, which arose already after delivery, as a result of aging the microcircuits. Although the similar technology already adapts in BIS of memory, which have regular structure, she is much less extended in logical BIS. Technology includes two aspects. One of them is connected with solution of the problem of detecting the failures, and another is konfigurirovaniya technique of the reserve chains, which are set in operation in the case of troubles. The detection of failures is based on the replacement of the standard triggers to the special, which can recognize worsening on an increase in the delays. When delay exceeds the previously predetermined value, is done the conclusion that the malfunction, caused by aging microcircuit, occurs, and switching to the reserve chain is carried out. Reserve chains are formed due to the separation of initial into the smaller blocks and duplicating of each of such blocks. Today, the majority of logical BIS contains the reserve copies only of comparatively large blocks - such, as processor nuclei. Certainly, in this case, probability that the defects, which arose two large units of one and the same chip, will lead to its refusal, it is very high. Separation into the smaller blocks makes it possible to go around this problem - even repeated failures in this case can be removed by switching the corresponding sections to the reserve chains. Central objective is this application of data of microcircuits in the combat robots.
