For measuring of pressure, humidity and temperature of air the meteorologists use radiosondes - the devices, which consist of radio transmitter and group of instruments.
Radiosonde rises on the balloon to the height to 30 km, where under the effect of pressure sphere bursts itself. The instrument falls after this, frequently landing at the significant distance from the point of sending. The graduate student of Pennsylvania university Warren Jackson proposed the method to avoid the loss of the radiosondes, many of which so cannot be found after drop.
Researcher projects the equipped by GPS- navigator robot, which, as soon as sphere will break, ejects parachute and, maneuvering with it, radiosonde into the predetermined point lands. Idea occupied the first place at the competition of the student projects of university, and the author obtained money prize to its further development.
